By Train & Light Rail:
Take the PATCO Speedline from Philadelphia (e.g., from 9-10th & Locust Station) to Broadway Station in Camden. From there, local transit or a short taxi ride gets you closer to the waterfront.
Alternatively, the NJ Transit RiverLine light rail stops at Entertainment Center Station, which is a moderate walk from the ship and another good option for visitors traveling within New Jersey.

By Bus:
Camden is served by several local and regional buses that stop within walking distance of the battleship.
Nearby stops include Riverside Drive at MLK Blvd, Broadway at Royden St, and other routes that serve the waterfront area.

By Ferry:
During the warmer months, visitors from Philadelphia can choose a scenic ferry ride across the Delaware River to Camden – typically from Penn’s Landing.
The waterfront landing is a pleasant walk from the Battleship New Jersey and provides unique views of both the city skyline and the historic ship as you arrive.

By Car:
Driving is one of the most direct ways to reach the museum:
From points south or west in New Jersey, take I-295 North or Route 55 North to Route 42 North, then follow signs to I-676 North toward the city. Exit at Martin Luther King Blvd and follow local signs to the Camden Waterfront.
If you’re coming from northern New Jersey, use the New Jersey Turnpike South toward Exit 4, connect to Route 73 North, then join I-295 South and follow the same directions toward Camden.
Parking is available nearby in the Waterfront Garage on Delaware Avenue and at other local lots.
